Patek Philippe's Watch Art Exhibition Just Closed in Milan — Here's What Mattered
Patek Philippe’s biggest public exhibition ever just wrapped in Milan — and if you care about Patek, this is the one to know about.
The Watch Art Grand Exhibition ran October 2–18 at the CityOval in Milan’s CityLife district. Admission was free. It was the seventh edition of the series, and the largest they’ve ever staged: around 500 watches across fifteen themed rooms, from the current collection to centuries-old pieces from the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva. Their watchmakers and artisans were on-site doing live demonstrations, and there was a new archives room tracing the brand from 1839 to today.
The seven Milano limited editions
Patek made seven limited editions for Milan, each with a sapphire case back inscribed “Patek Philippe Milano 2026”:
- Ref. 5978P-010 — platinum Chronograph Perpetual Calendar with a brand-new manual-wind calibre, limited to 120 pieces. The technical headline of the show.
- Ref. 5531G-012 / 5531G-013 — Minute Repeater World Time with Grand Feu enamel dials showing Milan by day and by night. Five pieces each.
- Ref. 7047G-010 — white gold Calatrava Minute Repeater, red lacquer dial. Five pieces.
- Ref. 7147G-010 — white gold Perpetual Calendar, green lacquer dial. 100 pieces.
- Ref. 7007G-010 — white gold Calatrava Date, white lacquer dial. 200 pieces.
- Ref. 5167A-014 — steel Aquanaut Date, fumé blue dial with red accents. 250 pieces.
250 pieces, steel case, blue dial. That combination always has a line behind it.

Why this matters if you buy and sell Patek
Exhibition limited editions like these go to top clients first, and the ones that reach the open market tend to move fast. If I had to pick one to watch, it’s the steel Aquanaut (5167A-014) — 250 pieces, steel case, blue dial.
These Milano pieces will start surfacing on the secondary market in the coming months. If any of them are on your list, now’s the time to get positioned.
